Description
Jože Ciuha was born in 1924 in Trbovlje. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. His rich oeuvre includes a wide variety of paintings on canvas and plexi -glass, tapestries, mosaics, watercolours, drawings and prints. The painter depicts a world on the border between reality and fantasy in response to how reality becomes subject to manipulation and exploatation.
