The painter Enver Kaljanac was born in 1944 in Sarajevo in Bosnia. After he completed high school in Sarajevo, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where he graduated in 1970 and completed a specialty for restoration and conservation. He is a freelance artist since 2008 and lives in Velenje. He deals with painting, especially with watercolors, including photography. The motifs range from the original art installations to attempts to depict the importance of the insanity of man and war in the Balkans and the images of the Slovenian landscape. He is one of the co-founders of the avant-garde art group June, with whom he participated in numerous domestic and international exhibitions.
