The first thing that inspires us with his work are his surprising drawing skills. Berber draws with lightness and certainty, which has almost disappeared from the art of Western Europe and the USA. His forms are characterized by the fullness and solidity, which many of today’s artists no longer know how to achieve. (Edward Lucie Smith) Berber died at his home in Zagreb on 7 October 2012.
