Maraž Adriana

Maraž Adriana

The painter has perceived timeless beauty in everything in the world, even in the most everyday objects, but most often in antique seating furniture, and projected into it an aesthetically polished testimony of anxiety and distress as an expression of human life with its harmonies and contradictions. Because she was extremely reserved all her life, she could also metaphorically express her personal confession and contemplation of people only through the motifs of human-related objects, often mythologically colored; she also humanized her armchairs and sofas in some places and wittily imprinted anthropomorphic features on them.
